Today, in the spirit of #ThoughtfulThursday, I bring you the first of many posts on thoughts that may transform your outlook or enjoyment of life.
Last week Maya Angelou, one of my all time favorite activists and poets, was called home to glory. What I loved most about Dr. Angelou, was her unwavering ability to have faith in people, no matter the circumstance. Her faith was more than just a personal source of strength, courage, opportunity, love, determination, pride, imagination, creativity, and success, it also kindled the fire of the same for so many others.
In the spirit of Dr. Angelou, my grandmother, and the many others who have gone home to glory, I will ardently work to “let my faith shine through” every day and I hope you will do the same! I have come to believe, wholeheartedly in the power of positive thinking (another T). Faith in positive outcomes can help you see the beauty in every situation and life lesson. Faith is more than the whim of an optimistic dreamer it is a guiding light, a manifestation of love, trust, and connection with all that is seen and unseen.
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1, KJV).
So let your faith shine through and joy is soon to follow!
Share your thought(s) after the T!
Love,
T
