Today’s words of wisdom come by way of an image I came across while doing a little people watching on Facebook. Facebook/Twitter watching has become one of my favorite past times, generally while I am bored or have a few unoccupied minutes in my day. Though the days I can feed this habit are few and far between.
The quote/image caused me to think about the old adage “people come into your life for a reason, season, or a lifetime.” More specifically that we rarely know how to determine a person’s purpose in our life. And those of us that do tend to fall victim of allowing people, or stay in positions/experiences, beyond the expiration date. Worst yet, we also allow these same people/experiences to impact our faith, or at the bare minimum- our self-worth.
If you find yourself to be one of these people… Then “sometimes you need to walk away. Not to make someone else realize how worthy you are. But for YOU to understand and acknowledge your own self worth.”
Hopefully this message will be as encouraging for you as it has been for me! If not, then maybe this inspirational post on design I found, on Hoffington Post, will do the trick for you!
